B4 - Phase Cancellation

Image
Today, we learnt about what phase is and what phase cancellation is. The below picture is an example of constructive phase where the sine wave that is quite loud as the waves are cohesive due to them going the same way.  However, the picture below here is an example of destructive phase (or, out of phase) as having the waves work in opposite directions causes them to cancel one another out which makes the sine wave a LOT quieter.  When working with phase and changing it from destructive phase to constructive phase, you have to be careful with the volume levels as it is very easy to damage your hearing due to the constructive phase sine signal being much louder than the destructive phase. In order to prevent hearing damage, move the track to fit into a constructive phase (or, use the polarity shift button to flip the wave 180 degrees) with the volume to zero and then gradually turn the volume up enough so you can hear it but no more because it is extremely easy to damage ...

How to start a Record label

Name and Genre: In order to create your own record label, you first need to come up with a name for your record label (for example, "Skeleton Head Music"). A list of people that you would need could include the following: A+R, Mixers, Lawyers, Sound Engineers, Producers, Studio Engineers, PR, Managers, Agents, Instrument Maintenance Worker, Social Media Manager, Recording Engineers, Mastering Engineer, Songwriter (optional - depends on if you want to have the artists write their own music or not), Session Musicians, Arranger, Composer, Lyricist (again, optional - depends on who you want to write the music), Studio Technician.  Scale: You also need to decide on the scale of your Record ...
